Have you heard this statement?
“Tai Po Teppanyaki, the tattooed chef cooks the best food”

Regarding this statement, I always thought it was an urban legend.
So when I walked into Tai Po, I had no expectations at all...
In fact, I just came to eat with you.

I randomly ordered a pork teppanyaki because it was one of the options that best reflected the store's seasoning style. I didn't expect...

Huh! ?
Spicy pork slices with light smoke
As soon as you enter the mouth, you will be greeted by the strong flavor of soy sauce and the slightly stimulating spiciness.
Although it is only slightly spicy, it can hit every corner of the lips, teeth and tongue without hurting the taste buds.
The meat slices are thin but not old, absorbing more sauce
The mutual flavors of onions and green onions make for a very delicious Teppanyaki dish.

Even the vegetables are fried with attitude
The cabbage is full of garlic flavor and the bean sprouts are crisp and soothing.
Overall, it is a recommended teppanyaki dish.
No wonder my friend dragged my wife and me here to dine.

I looked up at the chef who was cooking for us
There are faint tattoos on his sleeves. I'm not sure if they are half sleeves or 1/4 sleeves.
But I finally understood that there might be a strange connection between tattoos and delicious Teppanyaki.

Previous dining experience in Tai Po,
I would give it two stars on Fooday
I only come here to eat when I can’t think of what to eat.

But this chef abruptly raised Tai Po Teppanyaki to three stars.
When I want to eat affordable Teppanyaki, this Tai Po restaurant will be one of my choices.

Cheerful tone, neat speculation
Swing the spatula and cut like a butterfly on the iron plate
The teppanyaki dishes served by the chef are more than just the steam of the pot.

There is also a faint Jianghu atmosphere.

The fried pork is fragrant and spicy, and the onions rarely steal the show.
Close-up of cabbage, full of garlic flavor.
The portion of vegetables and meat is about this size.
Rice, this... Yes, just plain rice.
