The other day, I took a little trip to a restaurant known for its delicious steak. 🐮

It was called "Enya Izumi," and the nearest station is Shinodayama Station on the JR Hanwa Line, but I think it's better to go by car. 🚃🚗

I was curious about the system where they grill the meat on lava stones from Mount Fuji. 🔥

The restaurant had many semi-private seating areas, and it was a relaxed environment with many families. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒

I ordered the following:

• Beef tenderloin steak with scallops (150g) 🐮🐚 for 3430 yen
• Beef filet steak with large head shrimp & scallops (200g) 🐮🐚🦐 for 4680 yen
• Seasonal rice set 🍚 for 330 yen

The beef tenderloin steak and scallops 🐮🐚 came sizzling hot on a cast iron plate 🔥, accompanied by:

• Steak sauce
• Soy sauce mustard
• Special miso sauce
• Enya spice ✨

The seasonal rice with plum 🍚, a salad 🥗, miso soup, and pickled vegetables were also included. ✨

I grilled the meat on the hot plate while eating. 🔥 The meat was extremely tender whether cooked rare or well-done, as it’s tenderloin. 🐮 All the sauces were delicious, but I particularly liked the Enya spice, which had just the right flavor and was delightful. 🥰 The scallops were fresh enough to eat raw, and if overcooked, they can become tough. Eating them medium-rare was lovely and plump. 😍 The soy sauce mustard was especially to my liking. ✨

The meat can be grilled on the lava stone, and the vegetables also cooked through became fragrant and delicious. 🧅

The seasonal rice with plum was refreshing and tasty. ☺️ In March, they have mountain vegetable rice, so I'm curious about that too. ☺️ The salad was also sprinkled with Enya spice, making it really tasty. 🥗 The miso soup had a comforting depth of flavor. ☺️

It was filling and I was very satisfied. 🐮

My friend had shrimp in their dish, and that looked delicious too. 🦐

It had been a while since I had steak as the main dish, and I enjoyed it. ☺️

The seating was spacious, making it perfect for families or large groups. ☺️

The menu was extensive, with a variety of meat options and weights, making me want to try more dishes. ☺️
