Occasionally passing by "Yan Tai Bubble Tea" on Guanghua Street, I found the store's name and decor quite interesting, so I couldn't help but go in and give it a try. This beverage shop is located at 117 Guanghua Street, Xinshi District, Tainan, and it specializes in handmade milk tea, attracting attention with its rich palace-style design, which is indeed quite distinctive.
I originally wanted to order milk tea, but since my stomach wasn't feeling well, I chose their herbal jelly sweet tea instead. The sweetness of the tea was just right, not overly sweet, and it was very refreshing to drink. Although the flavor was fairly ordinary, it was still quite good for someone looking for something light. It's said that their milk tea is their signature drink, especially suitable for those who enjoy chewy textures, paired with a variety of toppings, so I feel it's worth giving it another shot another day.
Overall, this place has its own unique character, but the drink I ordered that day was average and didn't leave a particularly impressive impression. Next time, I might try their milk tea.
