Today, I went with my sister and two friends along with their four kids (one still in the belly 🤣) to eat at Zengxian Conveyor Sushi.
We arrived just before closing, and we could eat from 8:30 to 9:00. Once we sat down, the staff came to ask if we needed chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) or miso soup. Since we came close to closing time, we also asked what sushi we wanted.
On the table, there were cups with hot water available, and tea bags to use. The chopsticks were in a small drawer at the bottom, which was easy to pull out. The pickled ginger and wasabi were on the revolving countertop, and soy sauce, tissues, and a small trash can were also on the table.
I first took some salmon sushi, which tasted quite fresh. The hamburg patties were quite thick, and each of us girls had one 🤣, even bigger than what you would find at Zang Sushi. The shrimp sushi was sweet and chewy; I think I took a new dish of kimchi and beef but forgot to take a photo of it 😭. The kimchi had a lot of flavor, and the beef was quite large. The corn inari was filled to the brim, which was quite satisfying. The beef belly was tender, and my friend’s husband ended up ordering four more plates at the end.
The pink plates cost 30 TWD, the white plates are 40 TWD, and the black ones are 60 TWD. There seems to be a new item at 90 TWD available on the revolving countertop, but I didn’t try it.
We went to the Carrefour on Zhongshan East Road in Zhongli, where you can park your scooter in front without paying, and there are spots for cars both upstairs and downstairs.
