A new bento shop has opened near Tian Tzu Middle School, and it's quite impressive!
The Caesar chicken bento box has the rice and main dish in the same container, while the side dishes are in another box.
The owner takes great care to separate the rice and dishes, making the meal feel more meaningful rather than just hastily shoveling it down. This approach is different from typical bento shops.
The portion of rice is a bit small. The fried chicken is drizzled with Caesar dressing, which has a savory and sweet flavor. Additionally, it comes with two lion's mane mushrooms, tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette), corn, and sweet peppers. The variety of dishes is very rich. The fish head also has great flavor.
The side dishes change daily, and the seasonings are thoughtfully prepared. The enoki mushrooms are served cold, dressed with dark vinegar and chili for a tangy and spicy crunch that's very delicious.
