The "Sun Moon Lake Fan Tea," located at the intersection, occupies a unique position. The first thing you see when you get off the boat at the pier is a row of beverage and dessert shops.

Sun Moon Lake black tea is very famous and can be found relatively easily throughout Taiwan, but Sun Moon Lake black tea ice cream 🍦 is not as common. As a tea lover, you definitely have to try it!

The two beverage and egg roll shops next to "Sun Moon Lake Fan Tea" also sell ice cream, but choosing this one was really just a random choice without any particular reason. At 80 NT dollars per scoop, it's pretty expensive and seems to be a fixed price as it's the same at every shop. However, it is really delicious! The black tea flavor is very fragrant, with a good balance of tea and milk flavor. Enjoying one scoop alone is just right!

This black tea ice cream should definitely become a must-try snack for me when visiting Sun Moon Lake! I deducted half a star ⭐️ because of the price, but I personally think the taste is outstanding. It's perfect to buy a scoop and stroll around the old street.

If you're visiting Sun Moon Lake, besides the famous A-Po tea eggs 🥚, you should also consider trying the black tea ice cream 🍦 next time.

In addition to black tea flavor, there are also chocolate and vanilla flavors, each priced at 60 yuan.

There are also mango and strawberry flavors, but personally, I think when visiting Sun Moon Lake, it's better to try the local Sun Moon Lake black tea, which is more unique.

For an additional 10 dollars, you can exchange it for a sweet cone cookie or a paper cup, but since one item costs 80 dollars, which is already quite pricey, I didn't choose to upgrade.
