This was the first meal of our Kansai trip, and it was yakiniku in Kyoto. The restaurant is called "Private Room Yakiniku," which, as the name suggests, means each person has a private room, making it very private.
You need to take off your shoes upon entering, and walking on the wooden floor feels very comfortable. Ordering is done via QR code, so if you're not good at Japanese, that's okay.
The clay pot rice is one of their specialties: the rice is all clay pot rice, and the staff will ask if you want it. If you do, you need to order it first, and it takes a bit longer to be served.
Both the quality of the meat and the clay pot rice are excellent, and the prices are very reasonable, so the whole meal is very satisfying. The charcoal ventilation is also very good, and you can't smell much oil smoke indoors. For the price, I think it’s a great deal!
