💠 Glutinous Rice Ball
Hi everyone! I'm Lang Lang 🪽
Today, I want to take you to eat at a little cart hidden in the alleys – this is a place I rushed to after seeing it promoted on Facebook!
This place is located on Rong'an Street in the Qianjin District of Kaohsiung. It's not very noticeable, just a humble little cart on the street, but during breakfast hours, quite a few regular customers line up quietly!
There’s no sign and no fancy decorations, only Granny quietly wrapping rice balls, relying solely on real ingredients and the good old taste that has built its reputation!
🍙 Vegetarian Rice Ball (Large) | 30 TWD
Affordable and satisfying! Inside, there's cabbage, vegetarian meat, crispy fried dough, shredded carrots, mushrooms, and a fried egg~
When you take a bite, the layers are super rich, crunchy, fragrant, and refreshing without being greasy – it’s a vegetarian’s paradise for breakfast!
🍙 Rice Ball (Extra Large) | 50 TWD
This extra-large rice ball is truly a giant! Packed full of glutinous rice, paired with fried dough, a fried egg, pickled vegetables, braised pork, and a braised egg – it’s solid and stuffed!
The savory braised pork pairs perfectly with the crispy fried dough, the glutinous rice is not wet or soft, it has a chewy and fragrant texture; one is enough to fill you up!
A little reminder from Lang Lang:
This place is run solely by Granny, so while the service may not be fast, the sincerity is abundant, so if you’re in a hurry, please consider that~
However, if you're willing to wait a few more minutes, I guarantee you will taste that "flavor from childhood memories"!
This is the local traditional breakfast that belongs to the alleys, and each bite warms the heart~
