A cute little shop that combines brunch, bagels, and tea culture, with decor full of Pokémon, creates a whimsical atmosphere as soon as you step inside.
This time, the breakfast combo I ordered included a bagel, sunny-side-up egg, fruit, and a cup of American coffee or black tea, priced at $180. It’s simple but somewhat expensive, especially since the portion doesn't give a sense of being "particularly generous." While the decor and atmosphere add points, the value of the meal itself is a bit lacking.
The "Earl Grey Bagel" has a solid texture and noticeable chewiness, making it a decent bagel for those who enjoy a chewy bite. However, the Earl Grey tea aroma doesn't stand out much; the fragrance is faint upon taking a bite, missing that richness that would leave a lasting impression.
The black tea is considerate in that it can be served unsweetened, which is a plus for those who don’t like sweet drinks. The astringency of the tea isn’t strong, making it smooth to drink and not burdensome with breakfast.
Starting off early / EATWITHGO’s Pokémon-themed decor is cute and eye-catching, instantly uplifting the mood upon sitting down. As for the food, it is generally standard; the "Earl Grey Bagel" has a solid texture but lacks a standout tea fragrance. The breakfast set is healthy and balanced, and the black tea is a stable and reliable option, being the most satisfying part of the meal.
