【New Taipei City, Shenkeng】Wang Ji Golden Bowl Beef Noodle Soup
Aside from the old street, Shenkeng also has a local, long-standing shop.
Starting from a noodle stall to operating a storefront, it is currently run by the second generation.
Even before 5 PM, there are already customers dining in for dinner.
Take-out customers come and go constantly; we haven't seen them stop at all.
There is a diverse selection of side dishes, and the menu above has prices listed.
While the food isn't astonishing, it's very simple and enjoyable.
Here are the recommendations for this visit:
◽ Wonton Noodles $70 (The wontons are savory and delicious, and they also sell handmade dumplings by Grandma 🥟)
◽ Dry Flat Noodles $45 (The noodles have a nice texture)
◽ Liver Soup $50
◽ Side Dishes: Smoked Tofu Skin $40, Pig Skin $40, Bitter Melon $40, Seaweed $20 (Soft)
Additionally, the Pig Liver Soup $50 is decent but still has a bit of a fishy taste.
Blanched Greens $40 used to be tender water spinach, but recently it has changed to a different variety.
(I personally dislike this variety, which is why I didn't give it a star ✨)
✨ The following recommendations were not included in this meal, but I ordered them before:
◽ Small Beef Noodle Soup $140
(The broth is good, and the beef isn’t tender but not dry either.)
◽ Small Braised Pork Rice $35 (My grandmother’s favorite because it's salty enough 😆)
◽ Tomato Shredded Pork Noodles $100
(The tomato broth is very fragrant; even though I don't usually like soup, I still want to sip a few mouthfuls~)
◽ Side Dishes: Sticky Rice Peppers $50, Eggplant $40 (Very soft)
🚌 The bus stop name is "Substation," and it's a 3-5 minute walk after getting off.
🅿️ Public parking lot in Shenkeng District, Puxin Section.
