Located in the food court in Gotemba, the dining space should be very large, but the crowds are even larger, so it is actually difficult to find a location. As the sign says, it actually contains many famous snacks, and this time we bought fried oolong and fried pork cutlet rice.

The aroma of the fried oolong is very strong, the noodle itself is not bad, and the texture is chewy and not soft. There are many ways to eat udon in Japan, and frying it on an iron plate is also a good way to enjoy it.

Of course, pork cutlet rice bowl can often be eaten in Japanese restaurants in Taiwan, but when I came to Japan, I still wanted to try their local taste. In fact, it was actually better than the pork cutlet rice bowl in Taiwan. Moreover, this is a chain store, and it is located in a food court. According to past experience, the food in the food court should be unpalatable, but it is very suitable to be used as an indicator to judge the food quality of a region.

The fried pork cutlets and rice I eat in Taiwan often make me feel that I can make them at home just by using Japanese soy sauce. Even though it is in a food court, the fried pork cutlet rice bowl in this restaurant still has a different aroma from a Taiwanese Japanese restaurant, and overall it is delicious.

感覺點應該要直接建グルメ屋台?直接建美食街好像怪怪的

This is one of our favorite places to visit. The food is tasty and for children under 3 they give you a seaweed rice ball, steamed egg and drink for free, which our toddler enjoys. Service isn't super responsive and you should ring the service bell to get tea refills. But we love this place and come back often, highly recommend if you go to megacity mall and especially if you have kids under 3.

This place has a nice outdoor seating area in front and also in the back, especially nice when Vanderbilt Open Streets is running, as then the street is closed to cars and there are a lot of events like live bands, so the atmosphere is festive. The sushi here is fresh and tastes really good, very happy with the Ocean Lover roll which has salmon, tuna and avocado. The tonkatsu curry is also really delicious, especially the fried pork cutlet is really juicy and goes well with the curry sauce, and the rice is also fragrant. The curry has a nice kick as well. This is also a place we frequent quite a bit.
