I randomly walked into a coffee shop on the way and unexpectedly discovered that the staff were all Japanese! After staying here for a few days, I noticed that among the Asian people, most were from mainland China, with a few from Taiwan and South Korea, while Japanese people seemed like rare creatures I encountered for the first time.
The shop is simply and nicely decorated, with plenty of seating. If you live nearby, it’s a great place to grab a simple breakfast; the environment is quite nice. They offer light meals, beverages, and yogurt ice cream 🍦. Unfortunately, it was too cold today, and we only wanted to come in and get a cup of coffee to go.
I was attracted in by the sign outside advertising maple syrup coffee, so of course, I had to try a cup. The first sip was a bit shocking; it was sweeter than I expected, so I guess they used a lot of maple syrup? After drinking it for a while, I seem to have gotten used to the sweetness. The coffee flavor isn't very strong; it leans more towards milk coffee with a rich maple syrup flavor. It’s not bad and can be considered a local specialty coffee. If you're passing by, you could give it a try, but I wouldn’t make a special trip back. Just sharing for your reference!
