Because of my drinking habits, I haven’t eaten dumplings at night for a long time! I just suddenly wanted to eat dumplings, so I thought of this very cheap dumpling shop. They cost 4 yuan a piece, which is really the price in Taipei.
This dumpling is made by the store on the same day and is cooked to order, so you have to wait a while. Sometimes there are so many people that you have to wait for a long time. The dumplings come in leek and cabbage flavors. You can tell the aunt when ordering, sometimes When leeks or cabbage are sold out, my aunt will tell me. Since I don’t eat leeks, I always specify cabbage.
The dumplings here are not big. I order 10, which is just right. For boys, I think I should order about 15-20. The dumpling skin is not too thick and elastic. The fillings are cabbage and pork, and the taste is light. It's not too salty, and you can taste the crispness and sweetness of the cabbage. However, because there is no sesame oil, the dumplings will easily stick together after being stored for a long time. There is a sauce prepared by the store next to it. Because I prefer a lighter dinner, I don't have it. For use, I personally think it can be eaten directly.
I also ordered a mixed soup, which included radish, meatballs, fried tofu, sweet and spicy, and rice blood. It only cost 30 yuan, which was cheap enough. The taste of the soup was bland, but I felt it was particularly tasteless today><, before Drinking is okay.
In addition, the store also sells sweet or spicy, but I can’t comment on it because I haven’t tried it!
The dining environment is actually pretty good. There are a lot of people taking out, and the auntie is quite friendly. In summer, she will often remind you to come in quickly and close the door to avoid wasting air-conditioning.
The prices here are really affordable, and it’s a great place to eat at the end of the month. Don’t come too late, as they’ll be sold out easily! They also sell raw dumplings, but this requires a reservation.
