"I always thought having a bowl of 'Koi Wan Xiao' was expensive, but I didn't expect these to only be 95 yuan, which is cheaper than I imagined!" - By me, who hasn't eaten 'Koi Wan Xiao' for many years.
<About the meal 🥣>
Braised Pork Dry Noodles + 4⭐️
The noodles for the dry noodles are my preferred firmness; they are not overcooked. There are a few pieces of minced meat on top, and the fatty parts are braised just right, melting in your mouth.
Tofu + 3⭐️
The tofu doesn't have much flavor; the basic seasoning comes from the soy sauce. Plus, it felt weirdly warm for some reason, which was different from what I expected (I initially thought it might be chilled tofu).
Century Egg and Tofu + 3.5⭐️
The century egg is served whole and tastes great with the chilled tofu; at one point, I even considered mixing them together 🤣. However, if you eat the century egg alone, the flavor might be a bit strong, so that's something to keep in mind.
<About the staff 👨🍳>
The staff were pretty good, the service was fast, and they remembered to remind customers what items were sold out 🤣.
<About the environment 🐾>
The environment is quite spacious, but the tables were a bit sticky, which led to a small deduction in score.
There’s a wall inside filled with books, which I find to be a way to help me relax; I really like it 🤣.
