Pingtung has another new hot pot restaurant - "Eat More Shabu Shabu" located near the Pacific Department Store at the head of Zhongzheng Road. If you’re not careful, it's easy to pass by. They emphasize "I use my flavors to warm your stomach." The broths are all made with fresh vegetables and fruits. Although the prices are a bit higher, the quality of the ingredients is genuinely impressive.
The Mongolian broth allows you to adjust the spiciness. This time I chose mild spicy, and it was flavorful enough, with a strong aroma of cumin wafting through the air. The broth also had a hint of light vegetable flavor, which made the cooked greens and seafood even sweeter.
The milk pot features a seal-shaped design along with a glass-shaped milk broth, making it perfect for photos and delicious to drink. Their milk broth is made from fresh milk, not powder, and you can really taste the richness upon drinking it.
The self-serve bar also offers unlimited supply of braised pork rice and ice cream. Even after two hours since finishing, I don't feel dry or thirsty. It seems the owner has truly put effort into the broth. It's definitely worth a visit!
