This "Mainland-style noodles" located on Guanghua Street in Xinshi, Tainan, was brought to my attention through enthusiastic recommendations from colleagues. To be honest, I lived in Xinshi for a while before, and I completely missed this place. Since that's the case, I decided to try it out with my colleagues.
First of all, they have a rich variety of braised dishes at affordable prices, creating a very friendly atmosphere of Taiwanese comfort food. The performance of the minced pork rice is average, but it is already considered above average. The minced pork is fragrant and oily, and the rice absorbs the sauce, making it quite satisfying. For the wonton soup, the portion of wontons is generous, the broth is mildly sweet, and the wontons themselves have thin skins and generous fillings, providing a pleasant texture. Overall, it's a bowl of soup with quite a bit of sincerity.
Although this place doesn't offer exceptional flavors, considering the price point, the cost-performance ratio is quite high. This type of eatery tends to provide stable and affordable meal options, making it especially suitable for daily meals to satisfy hunger.
