🦆 Kaohsiung Sanmin▫️ Surrounding the rear station business district
🦆 One of the local delicious foods that fights rising prices: tasty Peking duck
If there's no barbecue during the Mid-Autumn Festival, then let's have roasted duck 🌕
There are many famous roast duck shops in Kaohsiung,
but sometimes you don’t have to go far.
Being able to eat something that suits the whole family’s taste nearby
is truly a happy thing ❤️
Our family buys it about once a month.
If there are more people, we order one duck for three dishes:
sliced duck, fried bones, and crispy skin, all very delicious.
This time, with fewer people, we bought half a duck.
Since family members didn’t want spicy food, we stir-fried it plain.
Otherwise, adding spice makes it even more appetizing 🌶️
The shop is located on Jiuru Road in a corner window,
and it's takeout only, no dining in.
You can see the roasted ducks hanging above,
their shiny, oily skin makes your mouth water.
Every time I visit, I notice the space is clean and tidy,
which is very reassuring in terms of hygiene 🉑.
Half a duck comes with a serving of skin.
If you want more, you can buy extra.
After bringing it home, I personally recommend
adding shredded cucumber to enjoy it 🥒.
This upgrades the freshness, allowing you to eat more (?
This shop seems to have kept the prices stable for many years.
In this era, that is truly generous.
Everyone is welcome to give it a try ✨
