# Taichung Dumpling Feast
It was another sunny winter day, and I was walking lively along the area near Bachelor Road and China Medical University. It was lunchtime, so I needed to find a good place to eat.
Unfortunately, it was already noon; the nearby restaurants were packed with local residents and office workers, leaving me no place to sit. I had to walk a bit farther, but luckily there were plenty of eateries around, so I didn’t have to worry about finding a place to eat.
I noticed a dumpling and noodle restaurant that seemed to have been operating for many years, so I decided to check it out. I casually found an empty seat, ordered the basic cabbage dumplings and hot and sour soup, and settled the bill upfront.
The hot and sour soup arrived at my table quickly. I took a sip; hmm~ it's been a long time since I had soup with just the right level of sourness and spiciness, not too thickened with starch, and filled with ingredients. It was delicious! It was rare for me not to have to add extra vinegar or chili to the soup 😅.
Before long, the restaurant was completely packed with customers, and my dumplings arrived just in time. I must say, these dumplings were unexpectedly delicious. The handmade dough had the thickness that I enjoy, and the pork filling was rich and ample. At the size and portion of these dumplings at $6 each, I personally think it's a great deal!
I look forward to coming back next time to try other flavors of dumplings~
