🚩 Hometown Pie, Kaohsiung Branch
It should be a small shop that came down from Taipei.
Located in a triangular window stall near the food-rich Xifeng Street.
They only sell three flavors of pie: beef, pork, and mushroom chicken.
Mushroom chicken is available only on weekends.
An affordable snack at a uniform price of $45.
The boss says it takes about 15 minutes for freshly made orders.
You can also make a reservation via LINE to reduce the wait!
The boss seems very friendly. ☺️
This time, I ordered the pork flavor.
The pie itself has a thin crust and plenty of filling, and it bursts with juice.
(The boss reminded me not to take too big a bite because it will ooze.)
The meat filling, diced onions, and pepper provide a rich aroma,
which is quite different from the typical flavor that uses green onions.
I really like it! 😋
Some people find it a bit heavy towards the end,
but I think one is just right.
Friends who prefer stronger flavors should also really enjoy it!
