This is a rare Asian restaurant in the city. The main cuisine is Indonesian, but they also offer other international dishes.
The restaurant is converted from an old storehouse, so it might be a bit hot in the summer. I personally like spicy food, but I think it might be spicy for Japanese people. The signature dish here is the plate of Nasi Capcay, which lets you enjoy various flavors! Mixing everything creates a mysterious taste! The atmosphere is perfect for summer.
I ordered green curry, and they kindly informed me about the spiciness before I placed my order!
This is one of the few Southeast Asian restaurants in Yamagata City, primarily offering Indonesian cuisine, along with other international dishes. The interior is remodeled from an old Japanese warehouse, and I really like the decor and atmosphere. This place is also recognized by Yamagata City for self-produced and sold goods, so I believe they have certain standards for their vegetables.
The dishes here have spice levels that might not be suitable for those who don't eat spicy food. I had the green curry and was informed about the spice level in advance! It's a rarity in Japan to find dishes with this level of spiciness, and I personally really enjoy it! I also love their unique Vietnamese coffee! If you like Southeast Asian cuisine, don't miss this place.
