Qijin's 50th-Year Copper Coin Gourmet Old Ice Shop - Douliu Ice City, is run by an owner from Douliu. After the 1977 Typhoon Ethel, the police officer owner was assigned to the Zhongzhou Police Station, leading him to settle and develop in Qijin.

Located prominently at a triangular window on Zhongzhou Road, this ice shop is in a standalone house with a first floor offering a variety of treats, including shaved ice, ice cream, ice cream tea, sorbet, and cake.

Milk ice sandwich costs 💰30, which consists of two pieces of soda crackers with milk ice in between. The milk is very rich and slightly sweet, perfectly balanced by the salty soda crackers, making it very delicious.

You can choose three flavors for a serving of ice cream; this time I chose peanut, taro, and green bean, but the owner mistakenly heard orange!?
The peanut flavor is very rich, aromatic, and has a slight grainy texture.
The taro contains small chunks of taro and is also very fragrant and rich.
The orange has a slight artificial flavor and all the ice creams tend to be on the sweeter side, making them very suitable for bringing children to enjoy.
