Today I’m going to recommend Kaohsiung’s super hot Chunlan cut buns. The seemingly simple ingredients are surprising, the dough is on the sweet side, and the steaming is just right to make it springy and not soft.
Soul Control Meat is really great! The highly recommended Fat and Half Lean (Comprehensive) melts in your mouth when you take a big bite. The fat has been marinated until it dissolves. It won’t be greasy when eaten with lean meat.
Coupled with the sweet peanut powder, the overall texture is richer (the peanut powder is added for popping), and the sauerkraut is full of sauerkraut to complement the crispness of the taste. It is perfectly coordinated and amazing to eat!
While taking the high-speed rail, I still couldn’t forget whether I should take one back to Taipei!
