User Review: The restroom is located outdoors on the first floor, with quite a few sinks available, and there’s even warm water in the winter!
On the third floor of the Chingshui Service Area, there’s a restaurant called "Japanese Gourmet Paradise," specializing in various Japanese delicacies. In addition to ice cream, they offer dishes like Yaba Miso Pork Cutlet, Hiroshima Michelin-rated Chinese Ramen from 2018, and Ehime Sea Bream Rice, gathering a diverse selection of Japanese cuisine in a single place.
What caught my attention this time was the Tokyo Banana Ice Cream, which is said to be available only here in Taiwan. Originally, this ice cream was only sold at the EXPASA Ebina Highway Rest Area in Japan, so finding it in Taiwan was quite appealing.
Since I found it, I definitely couldn't miss out! I bought a cup to try. It cost 140 TWD and is somewhat similar in shape to FamilyMart's ice cream, round and cute, with a label indicating 254 calories. The texture of the ice cream is very creamy, and the banana flavor isn’t too overpowering, giving it a very natural and refreshing feel, which I personally enjoy. For those wanting to give it a try, this seems like a great choice.
