Carnaval

This bar was specially introduced to us by a friend. We had made a reservation early on, because without calling for a booking, we might have to wait longer the later it gets! We also arranged for a very special omakase menu—a tasting version! So when we arrived, the staff were already very happy to welcome us inside. We completely skipped the menu and were immediately served a variety of different drinks!

Personally, I found it quite fascinating. They use lights 💡, lanterns 🏮, or different decorations to present each cocktail 🍸. The bartenders also explain the flavors of the cocktails on the spot, detailing the different spirits or syrups used, and even what they intend to convey with each drink. I thought this was very interesting!

One of my personal favorites was the one with the lanterns, which was a colorful cocktail. When the staff presented it, they brought out the lanterns one by one, and then showcased the drinks emanating from the lanterns right in front of us. The cocktail 🍹 also had colors just like the lanterns, and tasted creamy and sweet, somewhat like a flavored milk froth, which paired perfectly with the drink, making it feel like having a delightful little dessert!

I think if anyone enjoys unique cocktails, they should definitely check it out. It's a whimsical experience for both the visual and taste senses, and it's very interesting!
