McDonald's マクドナルド アミュプラザ博多店

I have to eat at the local McDonald's in every country I go to (I consider myself a McDonald's reviewer). When I went to buy it today, I discovered that the McDonald's in Japan actually sells waffles at night that are only available during breakfast in Taiwan! Bonus points for this!

This branch is located inside Hakata Station. I personally felt that the whole store smelled like a baby spitting up milk, so I chose to take it out.

The Happy Meal includes large potatoes and 10 chicken nuggets for ¥600. I think the price is OK, but it doesn’t come with a drink, so you have to order the drink separately. We ordered something that looked like milk tea, and the price was ¥300.

There is no sweet and sour sauce for the chicken nuggets, only BBQ sauce and yellow mustard sauce (without sweet and sour sauce, it wouldn’t be McDonald’s chicken nuggets🥲). To be honest, these two sauces are not unpalatable, but they just don’t have the same flavor as the sweet and sour sauce. , support the introduction of sweet and sour sauce to McDonald’s in Japan~
The chicken nuggets taste "moist" (in Taiwanese, I'm sorry I don't know how to describe it in Chinese), unlike Taiwanese McDonald's chicken nuggets which are crunchy and crunchy. It feels like they were left out for a while after being fried, so I don't like the texture.

The French fries are as delicious as usual. They taste exactly the same as the French fries at McDonald's in Taiwan. However, Japanese McDonald's does not include ketchup for customers who order French fries.

On the ordering machine, it said Earl Gray Iced Tea with milk. We thought it was the milk tea we drank at McDonald's in Taiwan. However, the sugar-free Earl Gray tea we got came with a milk ball and a syrup, which we drank after adding it. It tastes not much different from the original sugar-free black tea. The milky taste is quite watery, which is a little disappointing.

Overall, the price and quality of McDonald's in Japan and Taiwan are similar (I want to believe that today's chicken nuggets are just a special case). If you want to try it, you can still buy it ~ but don't order milk tea, Taiwan's is much better 😂
