As a person from Wanhua, I only knew about Xiaowang's braised melon. It wasn't until I grew up that I discovered this popular restaurant that has long lines. Taking advantage of a weekday lunch time when there weren't many people, I quickly came to try it out. I had previously eaten at the nearby Tian Tian Stir-fried Beef and thought it was just okay, so I didn't have very high expectations. However, the taste exceeded many expectations. The aroma and portion were both very generous.

Today I ordered:
Stir-fried water spinach with beef for 140 NT dollars. They gave a lot of beef, and it wasn't just small bits. It was very fragrant!!

Beef stew rice for 150 NT dollars. It's quite a large portion; it might be just right for two girls to share. Plus, there was a lot of vegetables and meat inside.

Beef soup for 120 NT dollars. The soup base with shredded ginger is pretty smooth. You can refill the soup for free, and the staff will actively inform you when your meal arrives.

It’s really a blessing to be able to eat such fragrant dishes in Taipei! I can understand why there are long lines. I will definitely come back again!
