🥐 Karuizawa vacation vibes! Enjoy healthy and delicious dishes at the European-style bakery, with portions that are super large and satisfying!
Nowadays, many people go straight to the outlet shopping area next to the station when they visit Karuizawa, and the old Ginza shopping street has lost a lot of its charm. However, I still feel that this area has the true "Karuizawa" atmosphere.
This time, we found a highly-rated bakery in a side street and dined at the restaurant next door. I initially thought it was normal for restaurants in tourist areas to be expensive but was surprised that each dish served was massive! Three of us girls couldn’t finish everything in the end! 😂
And the flavors were fantastic! I’ll share insights about each dish below the photos!
The interior of the restaurant has the typical Karuizawa log cabin style. We visited on a weekend afternoon, and the dining area was just about full without needing to wait in line, while the bakery side was also quite busy.
I recommend stopping by Karuizawa to browse and buy some jam, and you can also eat here and grab some bread to take home!
