This restaurant is quite a trendy spot in Paris. If you search online for good restaurants in Paris, this place usually pops up on several websites! So, I made a reservation today because I wanted to experience it myself.
When I arrived at the entrance, I found that the staff at the reception weren’t as welcoming as I had expected. However, the indoor heating was very strong, which quickly warmed up my body. The whole indoor environment has a very retro vibe, and for those who love taking photos, it’s a delight; the overall decor is very Instagrammable!
After looking at the menu, we chose:
❤️ Baby 🥙 Kebab
This dish wasn’t highly recommended by many people, but I was a bit curious, which is why I decided to order it! The dish itself is quite light, allowing you to taste the original flavor of the meat, and the tenderness of the meat was quite good. Paired with the flatbread at the bottom, it creates a nice combination of a crispy and soft texture. I actually thought it was quite decent!
❤️ Taco
The flavor was actually pretty good, but this dish was heavier in taste and a bit too salty. There was a green, slightly sour sauce that resembled the texture of yogurt, but unfortunately, there wasn’t enough of it. I think if there had been more, the overall flavor would have been improved!
❤️ Filet with Signature Sauce
When the steak 🥩 arrived, they asked if I wanted the sauce on the side or drizzled on top. I appreciated this thoughtfulness since many people don’t like too much sauce on their steak! The quality of the meat was good, but I felt that the ends were a bit overcooked, and it was slightly cold when served. Personally, I prefer my food hot, so this dish didn’t particularly wow me; I would say it was just an okay steak.
This restaurant is a must-try place on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), but after trying it out myself, I genuinely feel that it's better suited for taking photos. If you're looking for a delicious steak, I believe there are other restaurants that would be more suitable!
