💠 Baan Phadthai

Hi, everyone! I’m Wolf Wolf 🪽
Today I want to share a Thai restaurant that I absolutely love! After eating here, it’s truly unforgettable! Located on the 7th floor of Dream Mall, Baan Phadthai is definitely the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to—no contest!

This time, I ordered their personal set meal, and it's no exaggeration that every dish—from the main course, appetizers, soup, dessert, to the complimentary shrimp chips—was so delicious I wanted to have another round!

✨ Thai Spicy Chicken
Crispy golden-fried chicken thigh, crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the key is that tangy spicy sauce—aromatic and appetizing! It’s so good that I couldn’t stop eating it with rice!

✨ Spicy Stir-Fried Pork
Stir-fried pork with Thai basil, savory and slightly spicy, the aroma is overwhelming! The meat is tender and every bite gives you the illusion of dining at a street-side eatery in Thailand!

🥗 Spicy Green Papaya Salad (Appetizer)
Sour and spicy, refreshing with a rich salty egg yolk texture—so tasty you keep wanting more! This dish has some spiciness, and those who love spicy food will absolutely adore it!

🍲 Tom Yum Seafood Soup
The sour and spicy broth, combined with fresh shrimp and squid, delivers authentic Thai flavors—aromatic lemongrass and galangal scent fills the air, spicy yet not overwhelming!

☕️ Thai Milk Tea / Milk Green Tea
Sweet but not cloying, creamy and smooth—perfectly balanced with the meal, it's a classic Thai flavor perfectly recreated!

🍨 Coconut Ice Cream (Dessert)
Full of coconut flavor, smooth and delicate, it’s a refreshing finish that perfectly wraps up this Thai feast!

🦐 Shrimp Chips (Complimentary)
These shrimp chips are incredibly delicious, the kind you want to take home for binge-watching while snacking!

Overall, I left feeling: satisfied! Happy! Can't wait to come back!
Baan Phadthai really brings the soul of Thailand to Kaohsiung—highly recommend!

Nourish Thai
ThaiNew York
Nourish Thai is a popular restaurant with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. We like sitting outdoors when we bring our dog and the indoor space is bright and flowery. We ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken as lunch special and a Bamee Moo Dang Poo (egg noodle with pork and crab) which I tried out of curiosity. I wasn't so excited about it and had plenty of shells in the crab meat, and in general was on the bland side. The Pad See Ew was great and is consistently good so that was nice. With lunch special it has good value too giving you an appetizer and a soup which we also liked. Great place for Thai that's near us, so we're happy to come here.

🍗 Nameless Chx Thai Noodle Stall 🍜
ThaiKrung Thep Maha Nakhon
💛 Affordable local street food 😻 US$1.25 for a super scrumptious giant bowl of double-drumstick thai boat noodle in deliciously medicinal lemongrass herbal broth of wonderful richness that definitely could make every picky foodie drool — not to mention that their customer service is immaculately excellent up to the worldwide standards of most so-called 5-star Michelin’s ostentatious dining places; humble, down to earth & most importantly, they respect and show genuine love to and for the food they diligently harvest, urbanely prepare and joyfully cherish. An easy 5 Stars here, undoubtedly no further explanation is ever needed 🤩 wysiwyg, as simple and loving as that 🍗🍗 much love x infinity!! More Power to them, please keep supporting great food and hope they could continue to build a fantastic restaurant 🦾💪🏿💪🏾💪🏽💪🏻

The Original Boat Noodle Subang Bestari
ThaiShah Alam
A chain of the popular thai boat noodle, known for its small noodle dishes aka boat noodles and its many side dishes. Parking is relatively easy to find, though it may be different on weekdays as the help university is nexr door. The shop is clean with some outdoor seating available. Though i am not a fan of the dated table and chairs. The half chair half stool combination doesnt go well as some customers may prefer proper chairs instead of stools. The place is manned by a small crew of staff which is fine with the set up of the shop. You order on a piece of paper and pass it to the staff. Food came quick. The pathumthani had a sweet taste to it, while the ayyuthaya had a more herbal taste to it. The Khao Soi was creamy coconut curry with some spice to it. All bowls come with a choice of noodles and meat. Portion size was fine for the cheap price as you get the chance to sample the different noodles. I like the spicy creamy taste of the Khao Soi and the sweetness of the pathumthani; while the ayyuthaya was just ok for me. The crispy kangkung tempura was very good. It came with a dipping sauce that complements it well. The taro milk tea was abit sweet but i was looking forward to it. Overall, its not a wow place with super authentic thai taste, but a decent place for a meal with affordable prices and many small dishes to choose from. Will be back here when the cravings for thai boat noodles hit.
