This newly opened salt and crispy chicken place in Pingtung, "100%", has a vibe of a young, passionate little shop. The environment is neat and tidy, making it a comfortable place to be.
The fat intestines are highly recommended! They are fried to be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, completely non-greasy, and the aroma wafts up immediately. The turnip cake is made on-site from rice flour, and the texture is really different; it definitely has a chewy consistency that feels 100%.
I also love the must-try shrimp rolls and taro cakes; they're as crispy as cookies and the best part is you don’t have to peel them, you can just swallow them whole for maximum enjoyment. If you enjoy gnawing on bones, you must try the triangle bones, which have a savory and slightly sweet flavor that becomes more fragrant the more you chew.
The shop also generously serves a lot of onions and garlic, which pair perfectly!
They use clean oil and have a de-oiling machine, so even the vegetables taste refreshing and not greasy at all. Most importantly— the prices are friendly, it’s delicious and won’t hurt your wallet. This place comes highly recommended! 👍
