This time, I visited the specialty restaurant for baked soup dumplings, ‘The King of Soup Dumplings, Kashozu’, which is a 6-minute walk from Kamakura Station! You can enjoy both the chewy texture and crispy texture of their dumplings!

The restaurant features an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs carefully prepare the dumplings right on the spot and bake them on a large griddle, which is one of the highlights.

Menu I ordered:
【Shrimp and Pork Mixed Set】
The green one is the shrimp soup dumpling, and the white one is the pork.
When flipped over, you can see they are perfectly browned.
The shrimp is plump, and with plenty of juices inside, so be careful as the juices burst out with the first bite! The skin is thick, making it very satisfying to eat.
The pork dumpling was also filled with juice and very tender. It was juicy and incredibly delicious! ♡

Personally, I preferred the shrimp. There were four pieces, and they were so tasty that I finished them quickly.

The restaurant also has an eat-in space on the second floor, so you can either eat there after buying or take them out to enjoy as you walk.
If you ever visit Kamakura, definitely stop by to experience the amazing meat juice of their baked soup dumplings!
