🚩Subway: A Healthy and Versatile Fast Food Choice

The Subway store in Qizhang is located in the urban area of Xindian City, with the nearest MRT station being Qizhang Station Exit 1, about a 1-minute walk away. The store used to be on the first floor of an adjacent alley, making it hard to spot from the sidewalk, but it has since moved to its current corner location. The first floor has the ordering counter and a few seats, while the second floor is the main seating area. The decor is primarily in light colors, creating a comfortable atmosphere.

To place an order, you first walk to the end of the counter, select your size and flavor ➡️ choose your vegetables ➡️ sauce ➡️ meal combo ➡️ check out. Cash and digital payments are accepted, and an invoice can be issued.

The wrap is green but doesn't have a special taste; the tortilla is slightly chewy and wraps the filling very well. The filling includes egg salad, tender chicken, and a lot of lettuce—simple but very well-combined, and the portion is more than expected. I quite liked it; it's a good alternative if you're tired of bread.
🔸 Thick-cut Tender Beef Sub
I forgot whether it was wheat or parmesan cheese bread 😅 I included all the vegetables but no pickled items, and I only added olive oil as the sauce. (There are many sauces that could make it tastier, but I personally prefer a more self-punishing (x) light route 🥺) However, this combination allows the original flavors of the ingredients to shine through. The thick-cut beef is also quite soft and plentiful, paired with melted cheese—super satisfying.

Subway’s customized preparation offers great versatility in meals, allowing for a luxurious experience with a variety of sauces and side dishes, or extremely light and healthy options. The long operating hours and minimal waiting time make it a very friendly spot for working people. The downside is that the prices keep rising, which isn’t friendly to the wallet, hence the deduction of 0.5⭐.
