This restaurant is one I discovered while traveling in Thailand during a showcase program. The host inside introduced it as an authentic Thai restaurant. If you want to taste genuinely clean and high-quality Thai cuisine, you must come here because they use traditional methods to prepare their dishes, but with fresher ingredients.
I didn’t make a reservation initially, so I thought I would take a chance and just walk into the restaurant. As expected, it was easier to walk in at this restaurant than it would have been at one of the trending spots on Xiaohongshu. The staff at the restaurant were very polite and welcoming, and the seating was very comfortable. We ordered a few dishes that looked delicious in the photos…
❤️ Chicken Satay
Satay is generally easy to find in Thailand, but I think the sauce here is made with great care. You can taste the salty and sweet notes in the sauce, and they've added finely chopped peanuts, so each bite of satay has a delightful texture! I personally highly recommend this!
❤️ Appetizer Set
This dish is likely to appeal to girls who enjoy taking photos, as the presentation is quite beautiful. However, when it comes to taste, it feels a bit overpriced, as the portions are very small and there's not enough for everyone to have a taste. Yet, the price is higher than that of the satay, making it not the best appetizer.
❤️ Tom Yum
This is a fragrant Tom Yum soup🥣 that distinctly uses a lot of fresh local ingredients. The spices are also very fresh and clean, not excessively spicy 🌶️ to the point of being undrinkable. Instead, it has a mild warmth that feels very comforting. The ingredients inside are quite abundant, with the large shrimp 🍤 being notably substantial. I personally think this dish is very worth trying!
❤️ Soft Crab Salad
This soft-shell crab 🦀 is my friend’s favorite dish. The crab is indeed fried to achieve a crispy outside and soft inside texture, and you can also taste the sweet crab meat. However, the crab legs have a bit of a batter-like texture! The accompanying green papaya salad is very flavorful—not too sour but indeed quite spicy, making you want to drink several cups of water. This papaya salad was the only dish we had leftovers of… it was really quite spicy!
Overall, I would recommend the restaurant! I wouldn’t say it’s the best Thai cuisine available, but it’s a place worth trying if you have the opportunity.
