It's not authentic, but it tastes good. If you don’t have the idea of eating authentic Western food, this restaurant may be an option to consider. I'm sure a certain number of people will enjoy their meals.
This time we ordered pasta, risotto, and fried food platter. Fried food is considered a relatively successful item. Crispy French fries, sprinkled with cheese powder, and dipped in ketchup, an unbeatable combination.
The red wine braised beef pasta tastes okay. But I guess they plated the cooked pasta first and then poured the sauce on it, without draining the pasta. So when I took my first bite, the noodles and sauce seemed to be separate, and the noodles had no taste. It is recommended to stir it before eating. But even so, the sauce still didn't stick to the noodles well. It's a bit of a pity.
For the risotto, we ordered the pink fried shrimp risotto (I kind of forgot the exact name). The fried shrimp has a good taste and texture, with crispy outer skin and a moist filling (sauce?) in the middle. The taste of the pink sauce is average, moderately salty and you won't get tired of it if you eat it, but it doesn't have much distinctiveness. The texture of the stewed rice is on the softer side, more Taiwanese style, which I can accept. If I were to dine at this restaurant again, I would choose the risotto instead of the pasta.
Their main meals can be converted into set meals for an additional price, including bread and soup. The bread is garlic bread, which has good taste and texture. Mushroom soup is not like the mushroom soup you get in a Western restaurant. Generally speaking, mushroom soup is made by smashing the fried mushrooms with other ingredients and simmering them in fresh cream, resulting in a soup with a rich mushroom aroma. But that's not what they do. It's more like the mushroom soup of Mos Burger, and the mushroom aroma is not obvious.
Sicilian coffee is quite good, with enough lemon acidity and a little bitterness from lemon peel. It tastes very relaxing after a meal.
There are some negative reviews on Google Reviews that I think are a bit exaggerated. The interior decoration is not bad and very comfortable. Due to the rain outside, the dining table and chairs were inevitably damaged, but not to the point of being broken. We sat outside this time and it was actually very comfortable. The service really needs to be improved, some waiters have a bad attitude.
