Dinner is the most sumptuous meal for Italians. It has many courses and may take 2-2.5 hours to eat. It includes appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, desserts, after-dinner drinks, etc.

But I’m not Italian, so I really can’t finish eating so many dishes. Today is our first time eating an authentic Italian restaurant in Italy, so we thought we were very restrained and simply ordered one pasta each, plus another Let’s share an appetizer together, and the conclusion is that we are “very full”

BTW In Italian restaurants, they will serve bread directly. Don’t think it is free. In fact, they will charge a fee similar to the table fee. A total of €5 for a table here; there is also €2 for water.

There are two kinds of cheese and three kinds of raw ham. Except for the cheese that looks whiter and tastes softer, the others are all very salty. Eating ham and cheese together makes it even saltier. After eating it, my tongue feels better. Pork, maybe the correct way to eat it is to pair it with red wine, but as we have already had pre-dinner drinks at the bar, we really can’t drink anymore.
And because the portion was so big, the two of us couldn't finish the meal. We even felt a little nauseous after eating. It is recommended that we don't order this appetizer if there are only two of us.

Spaghetti alla carbonara €14
The ingredients include eggs, cheese, bacon, and black pepper. The sauce is very dry. The noodles are very hard. The first bite is not bad, but the seasoning is also very salty, the bacon is also very salty, and because of the cheese , plus the portion size is huge, I was a bit tired of eating this dish and couldn’t finish it.

The clams are super poppy, almost 1:1 with pasta. I don’t know whether to eat clams with noodles or clams with noodles, but it doesn’t seem to be spitting out, and it feels gritty all the time.
When I took the first bite of pasta, I thought, "It's so fresh! It's delicious!" But the more I ate, the saltier it became.

Overall, the taste of the meal is about 65 points. It cannot be said to be unpalatable, but it is either a bit greasy or too salty after eating too much. Overall, it is okay, but I would not recommend it to friends.
