One of the pioneers of Japan's third wave coffee scene, Sancha Tea House is a specialty coffee shop that keeps bringing people back for more.
In the Sancha Tea House area, there are several branches, and this particular branch, "Home," after relocating, not only offers coffee beans and drip coffee for sale but also has many seats for in-store enjoyment.
Obscura has a total of four branches and one roastery in Tokyo, each with a slightly different thematic feature. This branch features an African style, with many African handicrafts in the seating area. Additionally, there are two branches in the founder's hometown of Hiroshima.
The drink options are limited to iced and hot black coffee and latte, and it's not brewed to order! Each day, there are two types of coffee beans available for iced and hot coffee, along with limited-edition drinks that are introduced from time to time.
There is a wide variety of coffee beans here, with excellent quality at super affordable prices! While the roastery is nearby, it is not open for tours or café service. The staff mentioned that other branches offer more specialty drinks or brewed-to-order coffee, and each location has uniquely designed postcards that you can collect on your coffee shop tour!
