【Foodholic Naiko@Taipei】
Just staying in a coffee shop and staring at the people passing by in a daze outside the window makes me feel calm and satisfied. Today, during my lunch break, I went to a small coffee shop near the company to drink a latte and eat some light snacks. After charging, I can continue working in the afternoon~
"16.67 Cafe" is located next to 228 Park. It is only a 2-minute walk from Exit 3 of National Taiwan University Hospital Station. Nearby is Nanyang Street (Tutu Street), which is very busy during dining hours. If you don't want to be crowded, you can also come to this cafe. Have lunch in the hall!
ps However, the business here is also very good. It was only about 12:15 and the store was already half full. If you want to come for lunch, it is recommended to arrive early.
Tuna mashed potato sandwich $90
I like tuna very much, so when I see a tuna flavor, I always want to order it. The sandwich also has cheese slices, lettuce and onions, which is quite nutritionally balanced.
Their tuna and mashed potatoes probably don’t add mayonnaise. Although I personally love mayonnaise, this one tastes refreshing and won’t feel burdensome, which is not bad~
The only thing that is more ordinary is the toast. The edges are not removed and it tastes a little hard. It is not as soft as the fresh milk toast.
ps. You can upgrade the set meal for an additional $40, which will give you an extra serving of French fries.
Hot latte $90 ($10 off when paired with a meal)
For coffee beans, you can choose "Cocoa Gentleman (nutty and thick body)" or "Fruit Queen (fruity, refreshing and smooth)". I told the clerk that I wanted something less bitter, and the clerk recommended that I order "Fruit Queen" "
However, it still tastes quite bitter when I drink it. Maybe I am too used to drinking latte with strong milk flavor, so I can still feel the obvious bitterness when drinking this cup. It doesn’t taste bad, but it is not as smooth~
Also, I don’t think I tasted the fruity aroma (?), maybe I really have a wooden tongue 😂
ps You can also choose single-origin beans, and the price will be $110!
Overall, I think the sandwich is about 70 points. It’s okay for lunch, but not amazingly delicious. The price of the latte is very cute. If you can get a latte for less than $100 in Taipei, just add it first. Okay, this is a good place to chat and drink coffee with friends.
p.s. The clerk’s English is very good. When foreigners come in, the clerk can answer questions fluently~
