Xiaonan Bento is quite popular among office workers in Taitung City because it offers a wide variety of dishes that often change, so you generally won't get tired of eating there. The pricing is estimated by the staff at the counter based on the apparent quantity of the bento.
The dishes themselves are not overly greasy, the ingredients are handled fairly fresh, and the food is kept warm, which is quite important during the winter. However, I feel that the price point is slightly on the higher side.
Additionally, due to recurrent personnel issues in the operation of this self-service restaurant, the opening hours may vary because of staff shortages, and sometimes you might find it closed.
