This place is "Le Moût," located in the bread stall area near the boarding gates of Terminal 1 at Taoyuan Airport, mainly serving passengers preparing to board. I've seen this place often, and this time I finally bought something to try.
I've heard that their bread is very delicious, and after trying it for myself, I was truly amazed. The crispy caramel almond croissant has a crunchy exterior and a soft interior, and the sweetness is just right—it's the kind of deliciousness that makes you nod in approval with every bite. It's perfect as a snack before boarding, making it very convenient.
This bakery's prices are not low; the cheapest items are around 70 to 80 NT dollars, but the quality really matches the price. I really like the crispy caramel croissant, and I will definitely repurchase it next time.
Le Moût is located next to Gate C4 of Terminal 2, while Terminal 1 has two small stalls with fewer items. The one we encountered this time was a small stall next to Gate B1, which only opens from 5 AM to 7 AM, seeming to cater specifically to red-eye flights.
If you're in Terminal 1 but want to visit Le Moût, you can actually walk from Gate B9 to Terminal 2 for more options.
This time we bought a few items:
Overall, the prices are relatively high, but they are reasonable for an airport. The flavors justify the price, and I think I'll come back when I visit the airport again. Also, Hsin Cheng Chang members can get a 5% discount.
