🦐 Kaohsiung Qijin▫️ Tianhou Temple Old Street
🦐 Delicious and healthy souvenirs • Shrimp cracker specialty shop

Tourist: What shrimp crackers should I buy as a Tainanese?

While I was staying in front of the store, I happened to hear this question from next door.
I silently thought: Good thing I’m from Kaohsiung 💭
I’m still a Kaohsiung person who particularly loves shrimp crackers 🤣

I discovered this shop when my family visited and brought some home.
I didn’t expect them to be crispy and not greasy at all,
completely on par with shrimp crackers from other places.
Plus, in addition to the original flavor, there are pepper, seaweed, and many other flavors to choose from.
Of course, after one taste, I became a regular customer. 👍🏻

This shop is located in the old street and is very close to the ferry.
🉑 It’s very convenient to purchase before taking the ferry back.
The shrimp crackers are displayed in a line for easy selection.
They come in large packs (200) and small packs (100).
This time I bought 2 small packs instead of 1 large pack,
thinking it would prevent them from getting stale if I don’t finish them all at once (Taiwanese dialect).

The shrimp crackers without artificial coloring are relatively more delicious and healthy than other snacks.
Each bite is crispy and super satisfying.
I must buy them to take home every time I come here.

Even I, a local from Kaohsiung, enjoy them and recommend them to friends from other counties (except Tainan people?).
Take a few packs with you! ✨
