During the off-peak season in Lan-yu, the options for breakfast shops are very limited. In the west, the main places to find one or two shops that are open are near the port at 7-11 or in the urban areas of Yeou and Hongtou.

This particular shop is located along the main road of Yeou Village. The breakfast options are simple and straightforward, offering egg pancakes as well as traditional fried noodles and fried rice. The egg pancake basically has no flavor, and the soy sauce taste is also very mild; it's recommended to add a bit more seasoning to really taste it. However, the daily soup is quite impressive, filled with ingredients like pork bones, radishes, corn, and meatballs. Although a bowl may cost around 50 TWD, the amount of ingredients inside is very generous, making it worth the price. I consider it a hidden gem on their menu. The soy milk is also decent, with a nice bean aroma—it's one of the few places in Lan-yu that offers soy milk as a drink, and it's delicious.

The indoor seating area is small, but there is some available. If it's crowded, it's advisable to take the food to go.
