Near Gaoshi University Affiliated High School, there is an affordable and good-value noodle shop. The dining area is very clean, and you can tell that the owners put a lot of care into it. ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ
🍜 Sesame Noodles (Large) $55 + 🫕 Wonton Soup $35 + Braised Platters $80 (I shared with a friend, so it was $40 each)
The sesame sauce is rich and smooth, complementing the noodles perfectly with an enticing aroma. There’s also a bit of minced meat in the sauce, adding a savory flavor.
The wonton soup surprisingly comes in a large bowl, and there is quite a generous amount of bok choy. The broth has a refreshing taste and isn’t overpowering, allowing the wontons to shine. It’s a nice palate cleanser while eating the noodles.
The braised items are also cheap and delicious. They have the basics like rice blood cake, tofu skin, and hundred-layer tofu. You don't really notice how much there is when you’re picking, but once it’s on the plate, you realize it's quite a hearty portion. (OvO)
In short, here you can eat well, feel full, and not spend too much. It reminds me of when I was a child, going to the nearby noodle shop with my parents – tasty, affordable, and warm.
Thank you to the owners, and I hope this place can keep going for a long time. (with hands in prayer)
❗️Their signature dish is century egg noodles, so I hope to come back to try that next time!
❗️The above reflects my personal taste, so please consider accordingly. Thank you~
