Sukhothai Thai Restaurant is located at No. 148, Fuzhou Road, Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, near the Zhongli city center, and Central University is not far away. The restaurant is filled with rich Southeast Asian flair, from its signboard to its decor.

During this visit, we sampled dishes including shrimp paste water spinach, Thai spicy chicken, spicy stir-fried minced pork, salted egg yolk tofu, squid salad, green curry coconut beef, and spicy century egg salad, totaling around 1500 NTD.

Shrimp Paste Water Spinach:
The water spinach is crisp and refreshing, tender to the bite, and paired with the savory shrimp paste, it is incredibly appetizing.

Thai Spicy Chicken:
This dish is a classic Thai recipe. The chicken thigh is crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and the spicy sauce has a slightly sweet and sour flavor that is very appetizing.

Spicy Stir-fried Minced Pork:
Thai cuisine seems to have no unappetizing options; the minced pork and the stir-fry sauce blend perfectly, accented by the aroma of Thai basil. The spiciness is moderate, but if you really don't want it spicy, you can ask the restaurant to adjust it.

Salted Egg Yolk Tofu:
The tofu has a crispy outer layer and a smooth interior, and the salted egg yolk sauce is quite rich.

Squid Salad:
The squid is fresh and bouncy, paired with a Thai sauce that has a citrusy flavor with a hint of spiciness, making it just as appetizing. "Salad" in this context is the Cantonese term, which is actually the term commonly used in Taiwan.

Green Curry Coconut Beef:
The beef slices are tender, the green curry sauce is aromatic, and the coconut milk adds a pleasant sweetness; while the Thai basil adds the finishing touch.

Spicy Century Egg Salad:
The unique iron flavor of the century egg pairs perfectly with the sour and spicy seasoning, making it a great dish to accompany rice.

Overall, it is worthy of being one of the most renowned Thai restaurants in Zhongli. The white rice and drinks are served in containers filled with Thai-style flair. The meal prices are very reasonable. The flavors cater to local preferences while not overly diminishing the original Thai taste.
