This Thai restaurant is located on Chengdu Road. The decoration of the store is a bit old, but it has many seats and a variety of dishes. It should be quite suitable for gatherings of many people.
Toasted Pork / NT$219:
Using minced pork, it is not too spicy and should be adjusted to cater to the taste of Taiwanese people. The overall flavor is mainly sauce. I think the taste has the same special aroma as Yunjiang cabbage. It is quite exotic, but it is also oily. .
Cabbage with cloud sauce / 169 yuan:
It’s different from the cabbage with shrimp paste that is common in Thai restaurants. I add a little pork and soy sauce and fry it. I don’t know what the sauce is. It tastes like bean curd. It’s quite special, but after eating it, I don’t know what kind of sauce it is. It feels oily.
Green curry chicken / 229 yuan:
I don’t think there’s anything outstanding about this dish. It’s not much different from the cheap green curry chicken that I usually eat. It contains chicken slices, eggplant and green beans, but the portion is not much.
Rice/person NT$25:
The cooked white rice is moderately soft and hard. It looks like Thai long rice, but tastes like Taiwanese rice. You can refill it after you finish it!
Generally speaking, the food in this restaurant is a little oily for me. Although I didn’t try many dishes this time, this restaurant may not be my first choice when I want to eat Thai food in Ximending🤣
