It seems to be quite a famous ice cream shop, but it's a bit of a distance from the MRT station, and maybe because of the hot weather, it felt like a long walk.
The sign has alternating blue and white stripes, giving a refreshing vibe. The entrance is particularly interesting as it features a revolving door, which is quite fun but requires some caution. The ice cream stuck on the ground as a doorstop is adorable. The interior has a wooden feel that is quite warm and cozy; the space is not large but has both sitting and standing areas.
There are two sizes available: boxed and in cups. You can choose 1-2 flavors, and when I visited, there were 8 options available. I was originally looking forward to the pistachio flavor, but unfortunately, it wasn't available. After some indecision, I chose Taiwanese vanilla and Earl Grey chocolate. I thought the vanilla would be a safe choice. It turned out to have a refreshing taste, the kind you wouldn't get tired of even after a lot. The staff mentioned that their vanilla flavor varies with the seasons. The Earl Grey chocolate has a richer flavor; I was worried it might be bitter, but the tea and chocolate flavors were quite balanced. The kǎo kǎo kǎo my friend ordered was really tasty and felt richer in texture and flavor. However, I felt the portion size was a bit small and, given the price, it felt somewhat expensive.
I arrived at the shop around evening, and there weren’t many people, which was quite comfortable. They provide a sink for washing hands, but it's important to note that they don't have restrooms or drinking water. Later, I found out they have some week-day events and often change their ice cream flavors, so I might want to go back and try other flavors.
