Necessary Workshop

I saw someone on IG recommending that the owner of this restaurant is the champion of latte art in Hong Kong. It also offers a lot of amazing hand-made latte art. I chose a rainy holiday to visit the store.
The store is located in an inconspicuous alley. The overall decoration is simple and warm. There are photos of cats, the owner, his family and their baby on the wall. It’s quite warm!

I ordered Coke Lemon Coffee Special & Colombian hand brew, plus the day’s wine-flavored hojicha pudding🍮
I have mixed cola with espresso like this at home before. I didn’t expect this method to be sold outside. However, he added lemon juice (it feels like sugar), two kinds of sweet and sour, plus coffee bitterness and bubbles. Overall, it goes well together!

The hand brewing is amazing. It’s an experience that I’ve never had before and it’s very unlike coffee.
I almost feel like I'm drinking... The finish is a high-fat pure chocolate flavor, a very adult coffee... I quite like it.
