The name of the store "Drinking Duck" is not just for cuteness, it is my favorite independent beverage shop in Taipei!
In the north, hand-cranked drinks have already entered the capital market, and if it were not a well-known brand, it would be difficult to survive. "Drinking Duck" is located on the first floor of Building B of CITYLINK, a joint venture between Nangang Three Railways. The drinks are of good quality. I thought it was a chain brand that I missed?
My favorite is the lavender milk tea, and the newly launched rose milk tea, which is full of floral aroma and uses real ingredients. Although a large cup costs 85 yuan, so far, the only better lavender milk tea I have found is in Lavender Forest, and it costs 200 yuan.
It’s also worth noting that the drinks are time-consuming to prepare, and you often have to wait for ten to twenty minutes during popular times. If you want to catch a bus, be sure to buy it in advance.
Speaking of which, "Drinking Duck" also had a store in its hometown of Donghai, Taipei, but it closed down for unknown reasons. I sincerely recommend it to people passing through Nangang, Taipei, to give it a try.
