When I was in Chiang Mai, this hot pot 🍲 restaurant was highly recommended by many people. I saved it to my pocket list after seeing it online! That night, since we hadn't eaten much, after watching the lantern festival performance in Chiang Mai, we went straight here for dinner. Usually, the business is already quite good, and since it was a festival, there were especially many people!
However, the wait time was very quick; we got a table in about 10 minutes!
The hot pot meal is more like a self-service style, as the items you want pass right in front of you, allowing you to pick the ingredients 🥬 you want! The soup base is prepared by the staff and served to you. Once you get the soup, you can start picking the food you want to eat! I chose the Thai tom yum soup! I have to say, their spiciness 🌶️ is definitely stronger than Taiwan's! I secretly added some plain water to the soup to dilute a bit of the chili's intensity, but it was still really delicious.
I particularly recommend their dipping sauce~ I believe that hot pot ingredients and meat 🥩 become unbelievably tasty just by adding their sauces!
Personally, I think it's a great choice for a late-night snack or a main meal. If you usually enjoy hot pot, you should try this Northern Thai hot pot. I highly recommend their dipping sauce; it seems like it’s the sauce that attracts so many customers!
