Thank you, Fooday 🥳, for making me want to try more different foods 🍽
🚩 Location 🧭
Located at the intersection of Minsheng Road and Fuhou Street in the West District of Taichung City, in a triangular-windowed storefront.
🪑 Regarding the overall atmosphere 🎡
The storefront looks quite large, but the ordering area is actually small; there is a large signboard nearby for photos, and next to the counter, there is a refrigerator displaying various soy milk options available for direct purchase. Although they sell tofu pudding, it seems there are no dining seats available.
💰 Regarding the pricing 💰
Almond Soy Milk Tofu Pudding + Peanuts $45, Job's Tears Soy Milk $90.
🍴 Regarding the food ☕
The almond flavor of the tofu pudding is very rich, with a fresh and smooth texture. The peanuts used are soft; some tofu puddings come with hard peanuts, which I really dislike, but these soft peanuts are super flavorful and delicious. The soy milk is also very rich in flavor.
The Job's Tears Soy Milk is thick, and the Job's Tears are ground up, so you won't actually eat the grains; you need to shake it well before drinking because they settle at the bottom. The flavor seems to be about 70% Job's Tears to 30% soy milk, with a slight sweetness, but it's not too sweet.
🤨 Conclusion ♥
I discovered this place unexpectedly while parking and didn’t expect it to be so delicious. Later, I found out that it’s a chain store; next time I want to eat, I don’t necessarily have to come here again; the flavors at other branches of the chain should also be as good.
