The 13th stop of Tainan’s 400-year food and drink tour - Paripari apt.

This three-story old house in a hidden alley is a multi-dimensional space. The first floor is a shopping store, the second floor is a coffee shop, and the third floor is a B&B. We mainly came to drink in the coffee shop today.

We didn't do any homework before arriving. We were going to push the door directly and walk up to the second floor. The clerk at the selection shop on the first floor suddenly said, "Have you confirmed your seats?" It turned out that we had to press the intercom on the first floor first. Ask if there are still seats in the cafe on the second floor
ps The attitude of the clerk on the first floor is a bit cold, but the clerk on the second floor is quite friendly.

We arrived at around 4:50 pm on a Sunday. The clerk at the cafe on the second floor helped us leave our names and phone calls to arrange for a table. We wandered around on the first floor for less than 10 minutes when we received a call saying that seats were available.

The decoration tones and furnishings of the entire cafe exude a strong modern era atmosphere, with the charm of a Showa retro tea shop, very old-school and very fashionable.

In addition to drinks, there are also cakes, slices, sandwiches and pies sold here. However, we waited until there were other shops we wanted to eat at, so we decided to just have something to drink and leave the meals for next time (seeing a lot of customers) They all have a little sweet tooth, they look pretty good)

Hot original latte $150
When this latte was served, I noticed that it had a slightly convex surface, filling the rim of the cup, but just enough not to flow out. The store clerk was awesome hahaha; the portion was quite large, so the price was acceptable.
The color of the latte looked darker, which made me worried that the bitter notes would be more obvious. It turned out not to be the case. Although the taste was rich, it was very smooth. The milky taste was noticeable at first, but you can feel it after tasting it carefully. The coffee beans are a little sour, but it’s a satisfying hot latte. I’m willing to buy it again!

Iced Ceylon milk tea $160
The first thing I felt when I drank it was "Hmm...it's so sweet", maybe it's because I just finished my latte😂
The base of Ceylon black tea exudes a light aroma, and the milk taste is also very elegant. Unfortunately, the clerk did not ask the clerk to use less ice, so the taste was a bit diluted in the end.

Overall, I like the calm and comfortable feeling this cafe brings to people, and the coffee is delicious. It is quite suitable for an old-fashioned date with your partner or friends. Unfortunately, I don’t have much time to enjoy it today. I will come back if I have the opportunity in the future. If I come back, I will definitely have a dessert next time!
